Learn the fundamentals of agility and how to encourage your dog through simple obstacles while developing primary skills, confidence, and enthusiasm. The Canine Good Citizen (or CGC) test was created by the American Kennel Club to help owners teach their dogs to be well-mannered members of the community. There are 10 parts to this test, including skills such as walking nicely on leash, sitting politely to be petted, coming when called, and being quiet when left with a stranger . In our 4-week CGC class, we will practice for all 10 parts during weeks 1-3, and our CGC-certified evaluator will test you and your dog on week 4.
